I’m Claire, and this is my husband Derek. We’re the faces behind DAX Properties
— building and operating real estate with intention, care, and a long-term perspective.
Dax Properties was started as Claire and Derek started looking into a method, a way to reach financial freedom. They were both raised in Haiti and They imagined what it would be like to have enough cash flow in order for them to travel back to Haiti and be on the island with children to their grandparents. Funny thing is their grandparents moved here and Haiti is no longer an option. And what started as just a collection of houses has grown into a dynamic business. This has taught them to use the imagination to set goals they can work toward but to stay open to the actual outcome in God’s design that will exceed expectation.
Claire is the CEO, leading the vision, acquisitions, and operations for property management companies. Derek is our CFO, leading a lot of our project management for the renovations and strategic investments. He has the final say for strategic investment. We have fully operational departments of acquisition, Renovation and Property Rental ( short term furnished and long term)
We believe real estate should be built with intention, operated with care, and grown with patience.
What We Do

We buy houses in any condition across the Upstate of South Carolina. Our process is simple and direct: clear pricing, fast closings, and no unnecessary steps. We prioritize honest conversations and solutions that work for sellers who need certainty, not pressure.

We develop and manage both furnished and unfurnished homes with long-term care in mind. For unfurnished rentals, we invest in exterior maintenance to protect the neighborhood well beyond renovation. For furnished homes, we create comfortable, well-equipped spaces and include biweekly cleaning to support peace of mind for guests and residents alike.

We partner with individuals and companies to fund value-add real estate projects. Each opportunity is structured based on the project, risk profile, and timeline. Our partners value transparent reporting, disciplined execution, and alignment around long-term growth—not speculation.

From guest communication to pricing strategy and property care, DAX oversees day-to-day operations with a hospitality mindset and an operator’s discipline. Our systems are designed to scale without sacrificing quality or control.
